Curfews are a way of life for young people.
First
of all, curfews are better known as life savers. This is because,
curfews avoid you from getting into unnecessary situations that can potentially
corrupt your name, cause you damage or even rob your life. For example, when
you obey the curfews set by your parents, that is to come back home by 10
o’clock at night, you will be at a lower risk of becoming a victim of robberies
and many other crimes that are worryingly rising these days.
Secondly,
another great reason to feel good about curfews is that they make you a
realistic person to handle life in a real way. It happens to be so, because when
you set curfews you become aware of your limitations as a child, youngster,
adult or an adolescent. For example, an adult male or a female can be seduced
when he or she is touched by an opposite sex. So as an adult you know that you
should not allow or by any chance let anyone sexually touch you. Consequently,
becoming aware of such situation will make one set curfews like, keep a
distance when talking face to face to an opposite sex or socialize
freely only with close family members and friends and so on. Realistically
you have set boundaries that have the potential to keep you safe. Adding on, it
takes a realistic person to face real life challenges. So get real by letting
in curfews into your daily life.
Moreover,
curfews also make a person morally acceptable. Learning about morals values in
schools are good, but failing to apply them will not benefit you in anyway. One
of the ways you can keep yourself morally right is obviously by setting
curfews. For example, we all have learnt that stealing stuffs are wrong. How do
you enforce this behavior in your own or children’s life? You can set curfews
like, do not bring back home anything that is not of yours or return
things that belong to someone else. Following these curfews will make a
person become a better human because of the moral value that has been
intrinsically sowed.
