God has been teaching me a particular thing for the past two weeks. It's about how good He is even in our brokenness. Let me tell you brothers and sisters in Christ, you may not be able to see the bigger picture and get answers for your whys now. But if you take a decision today to trust God in your situation no matter how hopeless and hard the situation may seem to be, God will make you soar like an eagle. You were called to be an overcomer, more than a conquerer, a child of the Lion of Judah, at whose voice the raging storms go silent and before Him mountains melt like wax. Would you trust Him and say today, "I don't understand what's going on around me Lord, but I choose to trust you. Because people may fail and situations may change, but you will never fail Lord, nor will you change. I will trust in you. Give me the strength to move on Lord." ♡ He is always faithful. Something to think about. Just because you prayed to the Lord and God has forgiven you, doesn't mean you are totally free from all of the fallout from your sin. There are ALWAYS repercussions for living outside of the spiritual law of God. It takes a moment to sin, a moment to repent; but it can take a lifetime to crawl out from underneath the fallout from your sin. God forgave King David for sinning with Bathsheba. But David still lost his children accept for one. God forgave Abraham for creating Ishmael. But to this day there is friction in the Middle East due to Abraham's bad decision. Neither does asking for forgiveness necessarily free you from all the junk you carry! Many of you are still dealing with the results from your acts of rebellion against God. And they're not going to go away any time soon. You've caused your life to enter a detour. Yet God in His mercy can still turn the detour into part of your overall journey, but NOT if you don't love...
Wish every Christian knew this. Going to heaven or hell is a choice we make. Because God has given us free will to make our own decisions for which has it's own consequences. Nobody goes to hell because of their bad lifestyle. Because JESUS CHRIST HAS ALREADY PAID THE PRICE OF SIN FOR EVERY HUMAN ON EARTH. They go to hell because they dont want to accept the true love of the Father who has sent His son Jesus Christ to pay the price of the sins of the world. When they refuse to believe in the saviour who was sent to save them, they on their free will are choosing to go to hell. Because in heaven there is Jesus and in hell there is no Jesus. And if you hate Jesus and don't want to accept him, you make a choice of going to a place where you won't have to see HIM anymore, which is HELL. A person just has to repent of their sins and believe that Christ has died for their sins and confess that Jesus is Lord and savior and he or she will be saved. Salvation is given freel...

Liking and sharing posts about the bible and God, listening to Christian songs, reading christian books are all to know about Jesus. But there is something we should not be ingnoring, which is to know Jesus himself. There is a huge difference between knowing about Jesus and knowing Jesus Himself. So how do you work out your way to know Jesus? Very simple. Spend some quality time with Him in prayer, and He will be faithful enough to reveal Himself to those who seek Him truly!

Happiness

Image
There are many actions, events and happenings that can make one happy. But what truly is happiness? “Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony”, said the first president of India, Mahatma Ghandi. Well I couldn’t have said it any better. Consequently, happiness is the key to good physical and mental health. Let’s now look at seven simple tips to be happy. First of all, one must be brave enough to forgive and humble enough to apologise. As humans no one of us are perfect. It’s the nature of man to do what is wrong, but most of the time we tend to repent from evil ways. Holding back grudge can only cause you to be bitter and can never make you a happy person.   Secondly, learn to think and analyse thoroughly before making any decisions. Making decisions can sometimes become a good or bad life changing moment for many. So it’s very important to learn how to be a critical thinker so that one will make the right moves to avoid regrets later ...

Urban life versus rural life

Image
“Mom, look! There’s a cow!”. This was how excited me and my sister will be, whenever we go to dad’s hometown. The many villages and rural areas we will pass by on the way to Mentakab, keeps our eyes wide open to see for anything that seems new to us. Personally, the very first time I saw a cow in a closer distance was at the age of 18. All these are no surprise to our grandparents and to some of our parents as well. In the comparison between urban life versus rural life, let’s look at some of the advantages of urban life. Beautiful toilets! Maybe that was not a good point to start off with? Well, it’s one of the reasons I feel grateful for living in the city. Cities are well developed places with many buildings which are tall and huge. Fortunately, we have good toilet systems and beautifully clean toilets to be used mostly everywhere. However, if it’s a village, then first of all it’s hard to find toilets and secondly cleanliness is a big issue. Moreover, modern toil...

Homeschooling Versus Public schooling

Image
“Oh no! It’s Monday tomorrow!”, groans the little kid in my neighbourhood. Mondays can be much of a grieve for the ones that has to go to school. Homeworks, assignments, competitions, quiet library sessions, bullies and so many things wobble in our minds when we think of our old school days. Adding on, another approach to learning called homeschooling was once an option only available to the elite social classes, now has become a way of life for many kids. Some prefer the old way of sending off the kids to either public or private schools and others educate their children at home through homeschooling. So is it a mere choice that parents make for their kids, or is there more to it? Absolutely yes! And that’s why I personally think publicschooling as the best for any ordinary kid.               One of the many reasons to send kids to public schools is to give our children exposure to the world. Schools are where you can meet hundreds of ot...
